Family ain't family no more...

Sooooo I probably wont make it to the next round but I'm bored so I might as well talk about my family...

My family is... hmmm interesting to say the least. We're absolutely not close, and looking back I feel like I never really got to know anyone in my family. My mom is a singer, and a member of a group called the Shirelles so she was always gone. When she was gone I would often go stay at friends houses because I didnt like going to my father's when I was young. This is part of the reason today I hold my friendships so dear to me. They were always there, especially when my family wasn't. I always hung out with older kids so I got my advice about life from them, never asked my family anything, so i was mislead coming up. That's part of the reason I was a hoe in the past, because my dudes who were older than taught me that you should just have multiple women at your beck and call... My mom, I love her dearly but we just dont get along! She lives in Las Vegas now (with my sister and nephew) and I'm between Atl and North Carolina so I see her about once a year. I don't miss her though cuz I got so used to being by myself coming up I forget I even have family some of the time. I feel like she's still trying to boss me around and I'm past the age of guidance, I appreciate her opinions but we have different morals and values, so its hard to relate to her.

My dad as I said in round 1 has cancer (colon), he's a NUT!!! For a while he wouldnt take his medication he was content taking Aleve, lol. He's crazy, coming up he used to scare the mess outta me because he's kinda mean. He has a serious anger problem, he drinks more than anyone I've ever seen and I've been in college 4 years. When he drinks he gets outrageous man, like threatening to burn the house, cursing out Jesus outrageous. Alcohol is his gateway to release the frustration and anger he has pent up inside, which I feel some of is related to his childhood. After a while though my dad just stopped caring what I did. So I used to go to his house, bring girls over, drink and sometimes steal his car. I was free do whatever I wanted at his house so I stayed there from 10-12 grade. I love him, but I just dont understand him. He's a mystery to me, still. But he's a hardworking man, self-proclaimed carpenter, and I know he loves me more than he lets on sometimes.

I have 4 sisters ages mid 30's, 26, 21 & 16. 1 is from my mom, all the rest are my dads side. My older sister has a son, as does my 2nd youngest sister. my 2nd oldest sisters didnt graduate high school, my youngest sister probably won't either. My oldest sister graduated from Howard University is a Delta, and so single its disgusting. She takes the women in control thing too far, and she's soooo pretty but nobody wants to deal with her because her attitude sucks. My 2nd youngest sister loves dating losers, drug dealers and petty thieves so thus she's a single mom. I'm the closest to her out of all of my sisters, but her decision making is terrible. My youngest sister actually ran away a month and a half ago and we haven't seen her since. She's alive we know that, but we can't track her down. She thinks she knows everything but she clearly is the slower of all my siblings. My little brother I just found out about him, you know how daddy's do! He's 13 I knew him since he was 9, but he's like my height its weird. I'm 6'3 at 22, he's 6'1 at 13 thats not fair. He's a cool kid, he'll be successful in what ever he does I can tell already.

I have a stepfather, well is he still a stepfather if he and my mom divorced? I dont know but I love him, he's real instrumental in regards to who I am now. He had me playing sports and took me to a lot of games coming up. I appreciate him for everything he's done, he's been having financial problems as of late (just like everyone else in my family) but when I'm stable he'll be stable.

Both of my grandfather's are dead, didnt know them too well. 1 of my grandma's have alzheimer's. My family is more like associates and my friends are more like family. But I have too many to name all of them. My bestfriend/brother since I was in 3rd grade though, Eddie has helped me more than most of my family would ever try to. His family is definitely my 2nd family, they give me shelter when I'm Jersey and always look out for me. Without them I dont know what I'd do. I'm tired of writing right now, but I'll be back soon.
